Alpha India Group throws again a whole load of summer flightplans on AVSIM. If they are no more visible on the first page, go to library and search on "Alpha India Group".

Beautiful freeware airports of Creuse: Montluçon-Guéret (LFBK) and Gueret Saint-Laurent (LFCE) by Emmanuel Parot are here available. Charts of the airports are also downloadable on the same site.

May 31, 2008 - AES - Airport Enhanced Services
Aerosoft's AES is still expanding. More than 140 airports can now be activated with version 1.95. This includes also many freeware airports like FreeZuerich, some Finish airports, the Austrian freeware ones by J.Kimla and the Italian airports from the iSD-group. Those who don't know AES yet can look at my video.
May 30, 2008 - SCENERY - New and updated
A number of new freeware European sceneries is available on the web:
Barcelona (LEBL) (existed already for some time but only now discovered) - Skelleftea (ESNS) (for FSX but works with FS9) - Leipzig-Halle (EDDP) (new) - Iraklion (LGIR) (new - version compatibel with hspbase1) - Birmingham (EGBB). (New update - original here). For all other freeware airports look at the fantastic site maintained by Robert-Jan Oosterloo.

Fabien Muriel (IVAO France) noticed me that the links to the airport charts for France given on this site were outdated. The links are now corrected. (see here)

On AVSIM there is an update available for Phil Reynolds' freeware Birmingham (EGBB) airport. The airport itself can be downloaded here.
April 5, 2008 - Summer FLIGHTPLANS
Summer flightplans start to drop in at AVSIM. After those of British Airways, TUIFly Nordic and TAP, Marc Marijnissen delivers the flightplans for Intersky (Austrian low-cost company), Grupo Sata (Portugese company with mainly flights to the Azores and Madeira) , Volareweb, Easyjet Switzerland, Sky Europe and Fly LAL (Lithuanian).
March 24, 2008 - SCENERY - Freeware Zürich
There is a new version of the famous freeware Zürich airport (FreeZ v0.6) available on AVSIM. The scenery can also be downloaded from the website of FreeZ.
March 22, 2008 - SCENERY - Hannover
There is a new freeware Hannover airport (EDDV) by Alexander Schön available on AVSIM.
March 8, 2008 - Winter FLIGHTPLANS
Now that the winter is gradually reaching its end, Alpha India Group launches a whole bunch of winter flightplans. They can be downloaded from AVSIM (Search in the Library for Alpha India) or even better, visit their website.
March 1, 2008 - SCENERY - German Airports
We remark that the old addon scenery for FS2004 is not sold at reduced price. For instance, a series of German Airports still costs more than 40 Euro. As a consequence this leads to piracy. If you surf on the internet you will find various sites were GA is downloadable for free. The only thing you need is BitTorrent or Alcohol120.

A freeware scenery is now available for the renewed airport of Sofia (LBSF). This airport recently received a new terminal and also the runway has been completely renewed. To download on AVSIM.
January 27, 2008 - AIRPORT MAPS
Every virtual pilot needs charts of the airports with the SIDs, STARs , gates, parkings, etc... Via IVAO or VATSIM there are sites available providing such charts for free. You can find here the links for the charts of European airports.

Lots of winter flightplans are already available on AVSIM such as those of MyAir, a recent Italiian low-cost company.
