July 16, 2009 - Interview Mathijs Kok
Mathijs Kok from Aerosoft has been interviewed yesterday in FSBreak
He told us about his company Aerosoft where 50 people are working and where it takes 18 months for one person to develop a new big airport like Mega Frankfurt from scratch to sale with an investment of 25,000-30,000 Euro. He also talked about his plans to develop a new flightsim to replace FS in which all the add-ons of Aerosoft would work. About how this flightsim should look like is being openly discussed in this forum. He treated further privacy and stressed that complicated procedures to activate add-ons for protection against piracy work counter-productive. What I particularly remember is he saying that FSX contains a bug in that sense that faster videocards will rather slow down FSX. You can follow the interview here: FSBreak 25.
